Marcus Lyons is a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based property developer who has driven operations at Lyons Group, Inc., since establishing the full-service apartment brokerage firm in 2009. During his time as the chief executive officer, he has exceeded $100 million in lease-up construction, development, and planning throughout East Tennessee and North Georgia. In 2024, Marcus Lyons expanded his professional activities by joining LFG Homes, LLC. As principal, he provides the company with industry insight from more than a decade in the housing development industry.
Between 2015 and 2021, Marcus Lyons balanced his responsibilities leading Lyons Group with his role as the senior director for the Tennessee Berkadia team. He managed disposition and acquisition efforts at the multi-family apartment broker, resulting in more than $700 million in multi-family property sales.
Mr. Lyons studied finance at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the National Multi Family Housing Association, the National Association of Home Builders, and the National Apartment Association.
